We attend a lot of children’s birthday parties. A LOT. What’s my go-to gift? Books, of course. So much so that my daughter’s friends put in their requests when they know their birthday is coming up. 😂
Books are such a great gift. They’re small, educational, don’t junk up a person’s house and above all…let children explore different worlds. A good book can give a child someplace to lose themselves, find connections, laugh, be entertained and even be inspired! Also, you’re pretty much guaranteed that your present will have a lasting impression rather than being donated or trashed a few weeks later.

Shine-A-Light series:
These one-of-a-kind books are pure genius. Â I’ve never seen books like these and neither have kids! The non-fiction picture books will reveal hidden images when you shine a flashlight underneath the pages. Unbelievably cool and kids are mesmerized! The books come in several topics such as seasons, trains, human body, earth, and the city. Pair with a new flashlight to complete this gift. Wonderful for ages 4-8yrs.
Nibbles The Book Monster:
This yellow cutie is a book eating monster that kids flip over! Nibbles just can’t be trusted around books. He LOVES to eat them. He can’t stop himself. This year long book has a diary feel but the questions prompt  kids what to write daily. Some days the entry might ask them to draw the funniest thing that they saw that day or describe their family members. Other days, they might be asked what their toes look like. 😊 Great for ages 5yrs+.
All Better:
This unique book is like nothing a child has in their library. The adorable treasure includes reusable bandaids that children position to “fix” the animal boo-boos. Kids squeal with excitement every time I gift this. This book always gets a thumbs up from the recipients! Ages 2-4yrs.
Alfie and Bet’s ABCs:

This uber popular baby book series just published it’s 50th(yes 50th!) book in this series. Sturdy board books with touchy feely pages and repetative phrases are sure to be baby’s favorite! There’s an animal or theme for everyone. My favorites are panda, hedgehog, reindeer and lion. I love to match these with a stuffed animal for gifting. An adorable baby must-have! Birth-2yrs.
Busy Books:
These fun books tend to sell out quickly wherever they are sold! A thick book with 4 tracks embedded into each book. A pull back toy to match the theme. Children are able to fine tune their motor skills with the pull back motion. Hours of fun and enjoyment! Plus, an added bonus of not needing to pry this out of any annoying packaging to play! 😀 Choose from train, car, helicopter and ladybug. Perfect for ages 2-4yrs.
Illustrated Stories:
These collections of abridged stories really draw a child in to the world of reading. Since the stories are abridged, children are not overwhelmed at the thought of reading a classic like Black Beauty or Robin Hood. Nicely bound and a ribbon bookmark make this a lovely keepsake. Great gifts for children ages 8yrs+.
