Popcorn Stories are basically little stories that “pop” into your head when you hear certain prompts. My favorite and easiest is “Once upon a time there was a…” then let your child take over. If the story starts to stall, you can add “and then they” to get things going again. Other great transitions are “suddenly”, “to their surprise”, or “meanwhile”.
